Wedding at the Mutterturm and Schloss Igling Coco & Marina.

In June 2026 Coco and Marina had their civil wedding at the Mutterturm in Landsberg am Lech, and I followed their day with my camera. It rained, so the umbrellas came into the pictures: Coco on the stone steps by the tower, the two of them together on the wooden bridge in the park.

The tower on the bank of the Lech, around 30 metres high, was built by the painter Hubert von Herkomer in memory of his mother; today it houses a registry office. Tuff stone walls, greenery and the little bridge make lovely backdrops even in the rain.

Afterwards they celebrated at Schloss Igling, the neo-Gothic castle west of Landsberg: group photos at the castle gate, dancing among soap bubbles and the wedding cake in the glow of the stage lights. If you are marrying at the Mutterturm or celebrating in Igling, I would love to be there.
